Coca-Cola Amatil - CCA Clubhouse app case study
CCA Clubhouse is the ultimate club for promotions for Coca-Cola Amatil brands, coupled with some of the best money can't buy experiences available. To amplify the reach of these deals on the street, CCA approached us to design and develop an Android and iOS app that would provide instant gratification to members. Increasing word of mouth and developing a loyalty based proposition that resulted in an amplification of active and advocating members.
Our Process
The idea was to develop an app that would deliver a behavior changing experience by giving users the inside track on member only deals near their current location. The key goal in the process is to drive membership and retention and the app had to allow for free browsing but drive membership recruitment on offer redemption - there's no such thing as a free deal. Alongside the key customer objectives for the app were a series of customer data collection prompts. Each time the user interacted with a promotion they were encouraged to provide a little more information about their preferences, helping the club to deliver a more personalized and tailored experience in the future.
The Solution
With 4 weeks to deliver a 'location based service' app the team set about designing a connected experience to be trailed and tested on both iOS and Android platforms in a live test environment.
Through the use of QR code and Microsoft Tag promotional POS around selected neighborhoods, members who downloaded the app could scan codes to immediately redeem vouchers for a variety of great food and beverage deals. Regular 'push' notifications alert members to new deals and attract traffic to new deals. Members could also use the 'what's near me' button to identify a range of local deals near their current location.
